You're apart of the webring now! What's left is to add your widget and have it display the correct information. Here's how you do it!
Step 1. Get all the files you need onto your own site!
This should be self explanatory. You can either download the files themselves or so you can create files and just copy and paste it in. If you decide to do the latter, make sure all the file names are as follows!:
a. siwebringuservars.js
b. siwwidget.css
Step 2. Add the code for the widget and the code for the CSS to the page you want to have the widget on!
This is slightly more specific than the last step as it requires you to do it a certain way, but if done correctly it should display exactly as expected!
a. Put the link to the CSS for the widget in the head of the page. This is so that if you edit the CSS file, it'll always apply to the element!
b. In the body, copy and paste the following code into where you choose to put the widget.:
3. Displaying your own information!
You can edit the text and image that appears in your widget using the "siwebringuservars.js" file. What you submitted can be found in the members list. From there, you can just reuse the same information. The form is for the members listing and for me to keep track, as you can freely edit what it says on your site, but changes won't apply to the members listing unless you fill out this.
The CSS file is also editable! You can freely customize it to your liking.
To end this off, I'd like to use this as a final thank you! I mainly did this for my own understanding of how to even make a webring and also did it just for fun!
